Aggregates for Concrete in Nigeria

Customer’s Background:

One customer from Nigeria, who would like to produce granite-aggregates for his clients that work in road construction, concrete and asphalt industry,. But now, he just has one two-stage crushing plants that consisted of one 24×36″jaw crusher and two 12×51″ finer jaw crusher. It is difficult to meet the popular aggregate size of 0~3/16″ (stone dust), 3/16~1/2″, 1/2~3/4″ and 3/4~1″ in local market. Also, the capacity of existing plant is only 60~70 tons per hour, it was far from the customer’s requirements.

Case Solution:

When we knew that both the capacity and the output size were unable to meet customer’s demands, we consulted his new requirements again and draft one design for him. The new design consists a primary (900×1200mm) 36×48″ jaw crusher, one secondary S51″ cone crusher (standard type) and one S51″ cone crusher (short head type) in the tertiary section. With the three stages crushing process, the final products are easy to meet the requirements and the capacity is able to reach 200-250 tons per hour.
