Cobaltite is a sulfosalt mineral and it occurs in high temperature hydrothermal deposits and contact metamorphic rocks. Nowadays, Cobaltite ore is found mainly in Sweden, Norway, Germany, Cornwall, England, Canada, Australia, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Morocco. Cobaltite is mined as a significant source of the strategically important metal cobalt and some other metallurgy industries and many anti-friction, heat-resisting alloy manufacturing.
Cobaltite Crushing Machines
The Moh’s hardness of Cobaltite is about 5~6 and it belongs to hard material. Because of its hardness, usually the cobaltite ore crusher adopt jaw crusher, cone crusher and mobile crusher in the cobaltite crushing plant and adopt ball mill, MTW grinding mill, MTW grinding mill and LM series cobaltite ore milling machine in cobaltite grinding plant. In cobaltite ore dressing plant contain spiral classifier, rotary kiln, flotation machines, filter, concentrator and dryer and electrical concentration equipments, like rotor electrostatic separator.
To one complete Cobaltite ore beneficiation production line, it may contain all of the machines. The final equipments configuration depends the practical demands and the design.
Cobaltite Ore Beneficiation Flow
When blast or diged out from the underground or from the mountain, the excavator carry the cobaltite to the cobaltite crushing site and feed dump the raw cobaltite mining to the hopper. Then the vibrating feeder under the hopper feed the raw material to the cobaltite ore crushers. Usually the crushed aggregates size is 0~10mm when the cobaltite discharged from the cobaltite crushers and classified by the vibrating screens. The cobaltite grinding machines (such as the ball mill) will grind the cobaltite aggregates to sand size or smaller particles. After classified and cleaned by the spiral classifiers, the particles will be fed to the cobaltite flotation machines or some other machines for cobaltite ore concentrating process. To produce pure cobalt, it needs much more complex process.
